Welcome from Timothy J. Lyons, MD, FRCP

General Clinical Research Center Program Director

GCRC Program Director, Dr. Timothy Lyons Welcome to the website of the General Clinical Research Center at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. This website introduces you to our facilities and staff, and summarizes current on-going research protocols.

The OUHSC General Clinical Research Center is a National Institutes of Health funded research center which strives to provide investigators with the optimal facilities and resources to conduct clinical research, to encourage collaboration among scientists, to train health care professionals in clinical research, and to advance the quality of patient care.

We deeply appreciate the support of our volunteers that make research advances possible. You may click here to view scientific papers that have been published through your volunteering.

Click here to see the February 6, 2006 slide show presentation of Dr. Barbara Alving, Acting Director of the NIH National Centers for Research Resources that was done at the OUHSC as part of the GCRC seminar series.

For Investigators: The acknowledgement that must be cited on all publications that have used GCRC resources is the following:

"This work supported in part by the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center General Clinical Research Center grant M01-RR14467, National Center for Research Resources, National Institutes of Health."
