The General Clinical Research Center (GCRC), on the OUHSC campus, is a facility funded by the National Center for Research Resources (NCRR),
of the National Institute of Health (NIH), provides investigators with the resources necessary to conduct patient-oriented studies.
The GCRC seeks to provide an optimal setting for clinical research, by hosting investigators who receive funding from NIH, other federal,
state and local agencies as well as by the private sector. In addition, the GCRC is also available for investigators to perform pilot studies
which may result in future funding.
For more information on how investigators can use our center, visit the Investigators Section of this site,
or contact Julie Traylor (405.271.4272) at the GCRC.

or other sources
- to encourage collaboration among basic and clinical scientists--to encourage, develop, and maintain a national core of expert
clinical investigators
- to serve as a forum training other health professionals in clinical research and to provide resources in which advances in
basic scientific knowledge may be translated into new or improved methods for patient care
- to continue to engage and increase participation rates of those minority communities historically under-represented in clinical research
